We Blog, Therefore We Are

Bangalore IndiBlogger #AkshayaPatra Bloggers' Meet. It was my first bloggers’ meet. To be honest, I felt a bit weird because I know only a few bloggers virtually and mostly no one in real. And, I was at loss initially because I didn’t know how to start up a chat with any of the bloggers who were present. But as the time went by, I slowly started to meet many bloggers and felt good that I came for the meet.

The “60 famous bloggers” was a surprise. Initially I thought it was actually the “famous” bloggers. But then I came to know that “famous” meant “random”. My mind went blank when I saw my name on screen and came to know that I was next to introduce. But, it didn’t go bad, I guess. It was just about my blog and a bit about me. The lunch by AkshayaPatra was a light one. They serve the same fresh lunch to around 1.2 million Indian children, who would have only a single square meal a day. And as mentioned by the president of the foundation, it’s just not serving food but a movement to get rid of one of the enemies of this country, the hunger. The introductions with many fellow bloggers were the one that broke the ice (for me!). To be honest, that was the best part of the meet. Met many bloggers. Avid twitterers. A 12th standard boy who blogs about technology (btw, he has an impressive blog!). After the same, we had some group discussions on topics that are relevant in blogging and social media. Then, had a nice near-zero(!) Bangalore traffic back to my room.

Three Cheers to Indiblogger team and the bloggers and blogging!
