About a Simple Man. Only Respect.

I loved him very much. When I was around 10, he used to patiently answer many of my queries, most of them being repeated and recycled. He used to share many stories from the past (How he went to Burma before 1947; don't know if it's true!). He used to vividly explain the struggles and how it was all in the past. He used to bring fresh catch from the harbors and I miss them even now. Even though he fell victim to paralysis 14 years back, even though his speech was affected due to the same, somehow I could get what all he used to say. It was so comfortable to be in his company. No airs. Plain and simple talk. He was such a lovely man. Even though our family was so poor, he tried his level best to educate his kids as much as possible and I should definitely thank him for what we are now. He was such a simple man that I have never seen him to be demanding at all. The 86 years he lived on this earth is definitely worth it.

RIP Grandpa. I can only thank you for everything by trying to be as unassuming, as simple and as honest as you were. Will definitely miss you.
