At this hour (damn sleepy, pardon me if I go overboard sometimes down here in this post!), I’m executing a promise that I’ll write something in my blog as it is being left without any updates for long durations (basically it means that the posts are less). So, this person has ‘cajoled’ me to write something here.This person exists somewhere there in the real world. But I know her only through this virtual space (Cyber-space, is that sci-fi enough?). And she's an influential character (see what she's done at this point of time at night!).
When I started my blog, I never thought it will look like as it looks now (No, I didn’t mean this blogger template!). It was just fun and the boredom at the initial stages of my job gave me ample time to write down anything. I never thought I could write like this (some things have turned better, I think so!). But I still never think that I have that extra capability to pull readers to my blog. But off late, something really encourages me. It’s because of these very "beautiful" (pardon me, actually I don't know!) friends I have got over the cyber space.
At first, I have to say about this wonderful person with whom I share some kind of comfort level which I can’t even share with some of my close friends. She just said “I like reading your articles”, the reason for which I asked because, even I’m trying so hard to like my posts sometimes. But she asked me not to "fish" (how sad!) for praises. What to do? In a way, that’s also true! But seriously, such comments are making me a bit nervous now because I’m not sure if there’s something that was there in the previous posts which I should repeat in this one and further. I really don’t know. Chatting with her is another revelation. She’s such a wonderful soul to hear my ramblings (of course, I hear hers too!) over chat and yeah, she’s elder than me (But I promised that I won’t mention her age!). The kind of openness I could share with her (of course, I didn’t reveal my all secrets!), it’s pretty funny that, even when I have not seen her, I feel that she’s very influential on me, the proof being I'm posting this.
The second person with whom I interact has contacted me through Facebook. She told me that one aspect (which I'm also proud about!) that I highlight in many of my posts attracted her to my blog. Again I don’t know the person in real. But again, some nice message exchanges have happened, which were so warm and lovely.
Then there are many who just contact me once or twice and I don’t know them too in real. Still, may be after long time, they again come back with a note or a comment, which makes me believe that at least I’m not making people hate life, fall sleep or bored to death, because of what I write. And sometimes I feel that they are indeed saying “Not bad” after reading what I just scribble here.
So, these “real” friends in this “virtual” cyber space have given me something to rejoice (No cheerleaders! So some self *jigs*). The interactions are so rewarding. On an end note, I still don’t get why she told me “I like reading your articles”. Anyway, I acknowledge everything (For eg: roses, brickbats etc.) that is coming my way. After all it’s all for me and affects no one else. And yeah, it’s 'virtually' a 'really' humbling experience!

Awwwww! Isn't that the sweetest!
She probably likes reading your articles because they come from the heart and somehow when one writes from such a pure source, it can never be found wanting!So there! You already have the secret to a well written article! Now you have nothing to fear!
Keep writing!
Cheers!
Take care.
P.s. She 'rambles' huh?
Oh! that's way too flattering! Too much to handle.... :)
Rambles? Just to complete that sentence. ;)
I think its sweet that you have fans because you write from the heart and that kind of writing always lasts in people's hearts. Keep up the good work, wishing u all the best.
@Swapna
Initially it used to surprise me. Now it's so encouraging to get the comments. :)
