I just thought of doing this only in twitter. But yesterday I saw a blog post done through tweets. I can't find the link now. :( I also thought how will it look like if I convert the whole thing into a blog-post. So this is not an original idea, it's "inspired". So, the following explains an experience in rain on Bangalore roads, today. #BangaloreRainTweets is the hashtag I used in twitter to qualify these tweets. That's it. Read on!
So it's all in tweets. It's in the same sequence.
- 5.55 pm. Starts the ride. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Traffic is too much. #BangaloreRainTweets
- 9 kms hence. Heavy drops fall on my face. Pains my eyes even though I wear specs. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Being on service road, I stop bike and get into a shop. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Rain stops for a while. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Starts my journey again. #BangaloreRainTweets
- The clouds cheats me, actually everyone. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Rain drops pounding. So painful on eyes and face. No Visibility beyond 5 metres. #BangaloreRainTweets
- The strong wind sways my bike. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Reaches a signal. Just standing and getting drenched. Can't even move. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Everyone is jovial around. Autowalas, bikers are all happy. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Chilly wind makes a guy on bike shiver. Me too felt a bit. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Rains pounding and ravishing. Roads are all full of water. #BangaloreRainTweets
- The next traffic signal. Again waiting and get drenched. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Now raindrops lash on my back due to wind. Painful #BangaloreRainTweets
- Gets an idea of sharing this through tweets. Good or Bad idea. I don't know. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Fell on 1-2 gutters. Luckily didn’t fall of the bike. No visibility. #BangaloreRainTweets
- My sky blue “Good looking rascal” shirt is fully drenched. And dirty water. :( #BangaloreRainTweets
- Reaches Silk Board signal. Waits. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Wanted to tell a Honda Accord driver that he’s missing the rains. Also wanted to ask him to come outside. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Once more stop at same signal. Waits. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Some chirpy girls are running all around. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Again stop at same signal. Waits. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Getting drenched royally all this time. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Saw pillion riding girls clinging on to the guys riding the two wheelers. felt a bit jealous. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Amused by people waiting under the flyover to avoid rains and blocking traffic. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Scolded a guy who was riding without headlights. It wasn’t working though. #BangaloreRainTweets
- The final stretch was surprisingly peaceful. Less intense rains and moderate traffic. #BangaloreRainTweets
- 7.15 pm. I reach my hostel room. #BangaloreRainTweets
- Removing wet clothes off is a hard task #BangaloreRainTweets
