Pub Culture!

Since I couldn’t understand this whole issue of Pub Culture, I thought I’ll prepare some kind of a questionnaire to help myself. The questioner and the answerer are also I, Me Myself. And I’m publishing so that it may be helpful to a lot of people. So let’s start.

1. What is this Pub culture?

Ans: They have explained it clearly here. Please read and find out if you want in detail. If you are stubborn enough, I’ll give a crisp answer. “A public house, the formal name for a pub in Britain, is a drinking establishment licensed to serve alcoholic drinks for consumption on or off the premises in countries and regions of British influence”. It’s just the first line of the page in that hyperlink. So the culture of having “pubs” is called Pub culture.

If you are not satisfied by the answer, sorry.....that’s all what I also understand.

2. How is it against Indian culture?

Ans: It is against Indian culture. (soft tone!)

3. I understood, but how is it against Indian culture?

Ans: It is against Indian Culture (a bit rough tone!)

4. OK. I want to know why or how is it against Indian culture?

Ans: It is against Indian Culture (rolling eyes and threatening tone…also meaning to change the question!)

5. OK OK OK. So what is Indian culture?

Ans: To be honest, I don’t know..

6. Why is it that only women are the ones against Indian culture? Why don’t you create a problem if men are going to Pubs?

Ans: The Indian culture clearly restricts women from entering pubs!!

7. (With a dropped jaw!)And about the molestation issue, is it promoted in Indian culture?

Ans: That was a side effect. The main issue is still the promotion of Pub culture.
